How it Works:

Ibotta is a free mobile coupon and cash-back shopping app for iOS and Android devices. Shoppers have the opportunity to earn cash back on select products by purchasing everyday products, and then providing a photo of the receipt.


First-time User Tasks:

 

Check out this step-by-step guide before making your first purchase:
  • Step 1: Download the Ibotta app and complete registration
  • Step 2: Go Shopping in person at a supported retailer (e.g. Walmart, Best Buy, Walgreens)
  • Step 3: Redeem (see submission options below)
  • Step 4: Earn Cash!



There are three submission options: 

Option 1: Loyalty Account Submission

When you link your loyalty account, you’ll get cash automatically. Ibotta does the work for you by matching your purchases to offers in the app. No photo necessary!

Note:
  • Only valid for in-store purchases at brick-and-mortar locations
  • Savers will automatically receive credit for successful redemptions within 48 hours

Option 2: Manual Receipt Submission 
  • Select a Retailer
  • Select Upload Receipt
  • Take clear photos of your receipt or scan the barcode and select any eligible offers from Your List (you have to add these to your app)
  • Some of the supported retailers will require you to scan a QR code or receipt barcode in order to redeem your offers
Note:
  • Only valid for in-store purchases at brick-and-mortar locations, including some bars and restaurants
  • Savers will automatically receive credit for successful redemptions within 48 hours

Option 3: Online Shopping Submission 
  • Click the pink "Shop" icon to process your transaction through a supported retailer
Note:
  • Only valid for transactions made by clicking the pink "Shop" icon prior to purchase
  • Savers will automatically receive credit for successful redemptions within 48 hours
